Finding Time To Paint
Painting Project - Post 1
It can be so tough finding time to paint the interior of your house. For me I have been struggling to finish what I started but I am so glad I started. Clearing out the room as soon as I know I have enough time to start the lengthy process. Once the room is empty I meticulously; lay down the drop cloth, tape everything off, and get two coats of paint on the wall before I have to pack my bags and hit the road for work again. I live in a lofted post and beam house so eventually I will need to move a scaffolding inside to really finish the job. Right now I have only two walls done in our living room. Living with it partially done only makes me feel better about the decision to start. We are painting what we like to call smokers white, a lovely brighter white by Benjamin Moore called 'Distant Gray'. OOOhhh its so refreshing and makes everything in the room look brighter and cleaner. Especially the brick chimney.
I decided if I post this blog now it will encourage me to tackle the project faster and not let a window of opportunity to finish pass me by. So cheers to setting goals.
